Good Man

Tammy held a silver mirror before Jack’s eyes and said,
“Honey, I know you see yourself as a good man and everything but ever since you started listening to those hypnotic files, you look so much better as a woman.”
He gazed at his full-face make-up and slinky latex dress and nodded. Jacqueline was born.

So… I thought of adding yet another supernatural-themed piece to the challenge today but decided against it to give you something with a few more words instead. As a result, I dug into my little black book of past sketches and salvaged this little thing. Are you a good man too or not?

Another Day

Everyone stared at Angela as she walked the streets of Newcastle in a red latex dress.
“This is embarrassing.”
“Nonsense,” Susan replied. “You look amazing.”
“I can’t believe you hypnotized me into doing this.”
“It only worked because you wanted to, dear.”
“I don’t remember wanting a matching collar…”
“I do.”
Another day, another memory.

Two pieces involving latex dresses in a row? I believe that’s a first even though latex is my favorite fetish material. Anyway, yesterday’s piece was about feminization as well whereas this one focuses only on the triggers and enslavement suggestions with a little dash of hypnotic amnesia as well. Quite the combo if you ask me even if I’m not fond of the latter myself. I suspect Angela won’t be remembering a lot of other things as the days go by and she becomes more and more controlled. Would you love to be in her shoes?

Working for Her

“You monster!” the private investigator spat in Alicia’s face. “You’re turning your employees into zombies.”
“Only the men,” she replied.
“That’s 98% of your workforce!”
“Ninety-nine, including you.”
“I don’t work for you, you crazy bitch!”
“You do now,” she sniggered and her office was flooded with hypnotic lights.
His discoveries never left the room.

The work week has been rather hectic so I decided to write something inspired by a busy office. Sometimes, people overexert themselves trying to keep up with deadlines and whatnot. That has happened to me and I’m sure it did to some of you, too. When that happens, it’s easy to feel like a zombie or something similar. In this case, there’s a perfectly valid reason for all of that.

Is the same thing happening to you?

Cursed Forever

Daniel covered his ears. The mirror pieces continued to scream:
“Serve.”
“Obey.”
“Surrender.”
Getting on his feet, he crushed them even more, hundreds of new splinters, sticking between his toes, shouting:
“Serve.”
“Obey.”
“Surrender.”
Angrily, he wept. It was no use. As long as a single shard remained, the witch’s curse would consume his soul.

I mentioned recently I’m watching Mike Flanagan’s take on The Haunting of Hill House. I’ve watched a couple more episodes since last time and because I’m liking the show, one of my friends advised me to watch his film Oculus as well. I don’t know much about it other than it stars the lovely Karen Gillan and it revolves around a haunted mirror. Sounds interesting enough so I might just do it. Of all the stories I’ve written, one of my favorites also involves mirrors and a curse so today I decided to do something involving both themes but in a different way. Have you ever heard a mirror scream? I have, in a dream at least. Imagine hundreds of tiny shards screaming and slowly driving you mad or, at least, draining you completely until you become a zombie puppet. That’s what happens here and it’s terrifying, methinks.
