Who’s Laughing Now?
Laura smiled as she sat on her throne.
Everyone said she was crazy when she suggested using modified microwaves to influence and control people’s minds. Friends and family laughed at her for believing in such strange fantasies.
She looked at the mass of sweaty bodies desperate to lick her feet and thought, “Who’s laughing now?”
How this story came to be
Playing with a simple world domination scenario to get me in the mood for such things. I’ve recently been commissioned to write a series of supernatural mind control tales that will conclude with such a scenario. I’m still in the preparation phase but it’s going to be an interesting experience, I hope. Anyway, there are no supernatural elements in this one, only technological ones but the result is the same.
