Unstoppable
The virus was unstoppable. There was no hope for Jake.
“Are you sure, Dr.?” his girlfriend, Melissa, asked.
“Yes. The strain is in his brain. He’ll become a mindless zombie soon. What I don’t get was how he was infected in the first place.”
“Who knows?” she purred, a syringe hidden in her leather jacket.
How this story came to be
I sneezed six times in about 30 seconds today. It happened right after I arrived home from work. It was probably the temperature differential between indoors and outdoors that triggered this. I hope I’m not hatching something this early into Autumn but we’ll see. I ended up improvising this one shortly after dinner.
