Trippy
Time was moving backwards, and Eric was confused. He woke up on a Sunday. When he got up, it was Friday, and when he reached the bathroom, it was already Monday.
“This is trippy!” he muttered.
“I think it’s fun,” his hypnotist girlfriend smiled. She touched his forehead and continued to play with his perception.
How this story came to be
Have you ever had the impression Time was moving backwards? It happened to me on this day. I was bored out of my life recovering from the fall and trying to get the headaches under control when I glanced at the digital clock atop the nightstand and noticed the time. I looked at it again and a few minutes later and realized that it was actually an hour earlier than I thought. Obviously, I didn’t look at the time correctly the first time or my brain glitched out for a bit. Our perception of things is often misleading, and by now you know I love to play with such themes. I did it again in this slightly humorous piece.
