The Right Thing
The countdown was almost over. Kayla looked at her sister’s vacant eyes and begged,
“Please, Ashley! Do the right thing and let me go!”
“This is the right thing,” Ashley replied. “Mistress’s will is absolute. Enjoy your transformation.”
The nanite bomb exploded as soon as the clock reached zero. Kayla didn’t have time to scream.
How this story came to be
Random late-night impromptu. I had a very busy day and my brain didn’t really start working until I arrived home. Of all the ideas that came to me, I chose this technological angle. Would you like to be robotized/enslaved this way?
