“Yes, General?”
“This pumpkin pie is to die for. You didn’t bake it yourself, right?” He asked, fork in hand.
“What do you think?”
“Knowing you, you probably hypnotized a chef to do it for you.”
“Sorry, you’re wrong.”
“Really?
“Yeah. Two chefs are better than one.”
“Ah…”
He laughed and kept on eating.
How this story came to be
I’m in the mood for pumpkin pie. I never baked one. I’m not going to say I’m a great cook, but I manage. I need to find a good recipe for it, procure the necessary ingredients, and then try my luck at it. In the meantime, I wrote this because Alexandra loves pumpkin pie, too. What about you?
