Jack munched his popcorn and sighed.
“The Red Devil, The Green Meanie… What’s next? The Purple Wretch?” he asked.
“How about The Blue Siren?” Amanda grinned.
“What?”
“A seductress who hypnotizes her victims instead of killing them… Hot or not?”
“You’re making me hard so… hot!”
“Meet me upstairs.”
He immediately turned off the TV.
How this story came to be
I’m currently watching season 2 of Scream Queens, the horror satire show from almost a decade ago. Yes, I know I’m late to the party, but better late than never. The show is hilarious, quite the spoof of horror tropes while still being somewhat creepy at times. I’ve been having fun and wanted to write something inspired by it.
If you haven’t seen the show, and like horror and comedy, you should. There are no spoilers here, only mentions to the two masked killers. Also, the use of the word munsched isn’t random because Jamie Lee Curtis plays a character whose last name is Munsch, so…
