Are you taking some time off?” she asked.
“Yeah. Need to clear my head,” he replied.
“Too bad.”
“Why?”
“I wanted to confuse it a little. I learned some new hypnotic tricks…”
“I can always make an exception for you…”
“See you at eight?”
Deal.”

How this story came to be
If you’ve read my Patreon post, then you know I’m taking a break from July 1 to July 6 to clear my head and prepare for the second half of the year. Things have been a bit rough on my end and the challenging times are to continue, it seems. Dealing with a confidence crisis isn’t easy, but I’m doing the best I can on my end.
Anyway, something simple just because… I’ve pretty much disconnected from most creative things throughout this period, though I’m still doing some things in the background.
