“Yep. Thank you for the pheromones.”
“My pleasure. Are you going to enslave anyone else?”

How this story came to be
This piece was partially inspired by something that happened at work today. Everyone was raving about a co-worker’s new perfume. Well, everyone but me, because my sense of smell is quite poor or almost non-existent and I couldn’t smell a thing. Many people find it weird, but that’s how it is with me.
Anyway, things that you can’t smell properly can still affect you, I think. This came to me as I was thinking about that.
