“This remake is amazing!” Thomas said.
“Yep!” Gina nodded.
“Thank god these parasites don’t exist though.”
“You don’t want to be mind-controlled?”
“I’m okay with that if my puppeteer is a woman.”
“Good,” she snatched the controller from his hands.
When he saw the tentacles creeping from underneath her dress, it was already too late.
How this story came to be
The remake of Resident Evil 4 was released last Friday. You may recall a piece I wrote two weeks ago entitled Demo that was inspired by it. At the time, I hadn’t played the game’s demo yet. Now, I have, and it’s really good. I still maintain my interest to, one day, explore this remake to see how it compares to the original which I still love but that will have to wait for a while. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom continues to be my only planned purchase for the first half of this year and it’s likely to last me a long time, so…
Anyway, I weaved a little bit of horror into this one, and I really like how it turned out. How about you?
