The skies were dark. Devon floated in the cold waters, his yacht sunken to the bottom of the ocean. Death was imminent.
Scaly tails caressed his leg and a choir of supernatural voices filled his mind. The mermaids of the deep had other plans for him.
Powerless to resist, he followed them into endless servitude.
How this story came to be
I fell asleep on the sofa after dinner tonight. It was a quick nap, only fifteen minutes or so, but enough for me to have a dream involving mermaids. The dream faded as quickly as the nap itself but since everyone loves mermaids anyway, I figured it was a good starting point for today’s challenge entry. Do you wish to be enslaved like this?
