My Pet Parasite
Something gooey was sticking out of Elliot’s ear.
“God, what is that thing?” Jake asked.
“My pet parasite,” Elliot replied.
“What?”
“It’s the thing she uses to enslave me. I love it.”
“That’s so weird. Why is it leaving your body now?”
“Because your girlfriend wants you to try it next.”
And so he did.
How this story came to be
I gave my pets deworming pills today. My dog reacted fine, but my cat was a bit nauseous for a while. Stool samples are clear, so no problems there. The idea came to me shortly after I took care of them, and so I wrote it. It’s not a type of mind control I particularly enjoy, but maybe you do, so enjoy.
