Mistress Muse

Muse Talk VII

“… and when you wake up, you’ll feel more creative than ever, but also more submissive and obedient, eager to please.”
“Why are you whispering?”
“Shhh… can’t you see he’s asleep at the keyboard?”
“Oh, I’m sorry. The conditioning of your writer continues, huh?”
“It’s called inspiration.”
“Inspiring him to be at your feet?”
“Where else?”

Hello, Muses. How have you been doing? I certainly like your style. Sometimes, inspiration is a whisper, sometimes, it’s a scream, sometimes it’s mind control… I like every single one of these possibilities otherwise I wouldn’t write these.

Milk

Mindshake

“… and to finish, add a dollop of whipped cream on top and a slice of strawberry or two for garnish,” Allison concluded, hands on her lap.
“You just described a milkshake. What’s that got to do with hypnosis?” Dean shrugged.
“Drink it,” she commanded.
He held the empty glass up high and opened his mouth.

I like milkshakes a lot and yes, I made one on the day I came up with this piece. I believe it was a strawberry and banana one but I’m not exactly sure. Still, it was quite yummy. I think there’s something yummy about this shortie as well.

Reflections

“My word to you has four letters, two consonants and two vowels taking turns as they descend through the alphabet. My word tickles your skull, possesses your thoughts, and demands its counterpart from your sleepy mind, for one must always reflect the other. Give me that reflection over and over again.”
“Yours… yours… yours… yours…”

This one is bizarre, a fragment of a fragment of a dream but not one in which I had a leading role. Rather, it was all about an unknown woman and an unknown man, but she was deep inside his head with something like this. I tried to reconstruct it to the best of my knowledge given the limited word count to work with. I’m sure you can guess the original word.

Surrender Day

President Whitmore addressed the nation.
“Twenty years ago, we fought for our right to exist, but a new age is dawning. The Queen has arrived. Today, we learn to serve!”
He felt her mental tendrils wrap around his cock and knelt in ecstasy.
High above, awash in mesmerizing blue light, the spaceships began to open…

It took Hollywood twenty years to make a sequel to Independence Day and, when they did, it turned out to be kind of mediocre. Seeing I wasn’t pleased with what I saw, I knew I had to write my own rendition of the story, but I naturally waited for the 4th of July to do so. I definitely like my take a lot more.
