I’d Rather Stay Indoors
The rain wouldn’t budge. Dan’s plans for the evening were ruined.
“I guess we’re not going out,” he sighed, looking out the window.
“That’s okay. I’d rather stay indoors,” Pamela said.
“Doing that?”
She held a crystal pendant between her fingers and purred,
“Do you even need to ask?”
Dan smiled. Hypno-play was the best.
How this story came to be
The weather was atrocious all day. It rained so much that I couldn’t even take my dog for his usual nocturnal walk. It’s still raining as I type this and it’s likely to continue all night and tomorrow as well. To top it all off, there’s a stormfront heading for Europe, so who knows how the weather will be throughout the weekend?
Anyway, this idea came as I was watching the rain from my bedroom window, with my cat purring nearby. What do you like to do when the weather is so bad that you can’t leave the house?
