Dina was a shapeshifter. She could be a lynx, an octopus, an eagle, a velociraptor… but Adam’s favorite transformation was “sultry woman with hypnotic snake eyes.”
“I’ll never understand this fascination of yours,” she said.
“I’m your slave. Does it matter?” he asked.
“I guess not…” She wrapped her legs around his neck and smiled.
