Eat!
Dinner was great but everything else was wrong.
“You’re not my wife!” Alan said.
“Don’t be ridiculous, honey,” Jenny smiled.
“She doesn’t cook this well. Impostor!”
“That hurts!” the devil posing as her growled. “Eat, maggot, and you may get to keep your mind intact.”
Dessert slithered on the table as her eyes glowed yellow.
How this story came to be
When it comes to horror, one of the things I like the least is possessions. They freak me out a bit but writing about them is always intriguing in a weird, cathartic way. Yesterday’s supernatural piece was gentle femdom through and through so, today, I decided to go for something nasty. I hope you’re not hungry.
