Discord Events – I Survived! – October 26th to October 30th)
Welcome everyone. As I promised, we’ll be doing a little something to celebrate the fact that the ruptured aneurysm a year ago wasn’t the end of my creative adventure, but simply a minor setback. We’re still here, and ready to have some fun.
First things first: this event will run for five days (Monday 26th to Friday 30th, my time). It will play out similarly to past events, but with a dedicated channel. The idea is to make this a yearly thing for as long as I can.
Everyone can play in the event, but patrons have special perks. I’ll detail them below.
1) General/free members are allowed one request. You can either ask me for a specific caption or a piece of micro-fiction, and I’ll create it for you. If you want the former, post a pic of the model you wish me to work with (include her name, please, as I don’t know every woman in the universe), and the theme you’re looking for. If you’re after the latter, a theme or a small description of the concept will do just fine, and I’ll take it from there.
2) Paying patrons, regardless of pledge, may ask for 3 different captions or pieces of micro-fiction, but then there are additional perks.
3) Patrons pledging at least $1 may also ask for a serialized caption, if they so wish.
4) Patrons pledging $3 may ask for serialized captions or an animated pic.
5) Patrons pledging $5 may ask for serialized captions, an animated pic, or a piece of flash fiction up to 1000 words.
6) Patrons pledging $10 may ask for multiple serialized captions, two animated pics, a piece of flash fiction, or an expansion of an already existing piece into a longer story (maximum 2500 words).
7) Patrons pledging $15 may ask for multiple serialized captions, three animated pics, two pieces of flash fiction, an expansion of an already existing piece into a longer story (maximum 2500 words), or a new short story with a theme of their choice (maximum 5000 words).
8) Patrons pledging at the highest tier – $30 – may ask for multiple serialized captions, four animated pics, three pieces of flash fiction, two expansions of already existing pieces into longer stories (maximum 2500 words each), or a new short story with a theme of their choice (maximum 10000 words).
Yes, you read everything above correctly. Those are the rules and the perks. This event is a celebration and is to be enjoyed. I’ll take my time handling whatever requests may come, but I promise you won’t have to wait for long.
