Demo
The demo for the new Black Queen game was great but it was over too soon.
“That’s it?” Stephen grumbled. “Not even a taste of her hypnotic powers?”
“Oh, you’ve most definitely had a taste…” Mark laughed.
“What do you mean?”
“That’s not a controller you’re holding…”
… and his hands were sticky too. Game over!
How this story came to be
The remake of Resident Evil 4 releases in two weeks. Today, a demo for the game has been released. I’ve just finished downloading it to my PS4 hard drive and will be going through it next Sunday. The original Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. I’ve beaten it many times on all difficulty levels and was quite good at Mercenaries as well. Of all the remakes Capcom has been releasing lately, this is the one that actually interests me but I’m not going to play the game just yet because the only title I’m purchasing on the first half of the year has been settled for a while and it’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If I have fun with the demo of RE4 (and I’m pretty sure I will, then I’ll consider getting the game down the line, maybe around Christmas because it most likely will be discounted then.
Anyway, all this talk about demos made me think of my own stories involving videogames and so this piece was born.
