Day 21 of Spell… B-O-U-N-D’s Femdom Hypnosis and Mind Control 55 Words Stories Challenge 2023, Confusing Words is a piece about language, hypnosis, and perception, inspired by a dream I had last night.
Confusing Words
Walter flipped through the pages of the book Theresa had given him.
“What language is this?” he asked. “Polish or something? I don’t understand Polish.”
“Are you sure you can’t read it?” she chuckled.
“Of course I am.”
“Excellent!” she thought, staring at the English dictionary he was holding. Hypnotic perception for the win again!
How this story came to be
As you know, some of these pieces are born from dreams and the only one I remember from last night was quite similar to this. There was a bookshelf filled with books, all of which I couldn’t read because I was convinced they were written in a different language. As it turns out, I had only been entranced into thinking so and when the suggestions wore off, I could read everything just fine.
I’m not really sure why I dreamed this because it doesn’t seem like something I’d actually enjoy (confusion sucks!) but it happened, so I might as well put it down into words somehow and be done with it.
