Bonus Story – Mandi
Bonus Stories are special features posted at the end of each month (depending on total pledges) and available to all patrons from the get-go. October’s piece is entitled Mandi. A journalist interviews a Pop star with an otherworldly secret. A gentle, supernatural story to celebrate Halloween.

Frank McDermott adjusted his purple and black tie and glanced at his notes one last time. It was quite the special night, one of the most anticipated in his life, for he was about to interview Amanda Roberts, Pop Star extraordinaire.
The mid-thirties dark-haired man, born and bred in the small town of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, was one of the most respected journalists covering the music industry. On top of thousands of articles and reviews covering all spectrums of the business, he had been invited to present the Grammy’s not once but two years in a row, his stage presence almost rivaling those who were to receive the much-coveted awards. He was already a legend in his own right, and yet he felt like an ant when compared to the beauty and talent of his latest guest.
Amanda – known to friends and family as Mandi – had just completed her twenty-second birthday. The Georgian girl with Scandinavian blood on her mother’s side was a petite, dark blue-eyed blonde with upturned lips, moderately sized breasts, and perfect feet. She had first risen to fame by uploading music covers excerpts to TikTok before being discovered by half a dozen agencies, all wanting to see exactly what she could do with the right production values and a well-oiled marketing machine behind her.
