Absolutely Nothing
There was nothing in Daniel’s eyes. Absolutely nothing.
“What’s going on? What did you do?” Jennifer asked.
“I wiped your husband’s mind clean,” Ella replied.
“Why?”
“I didn’t want him to tell you we hooked up.”
“But you just did!”
“Are you sure?” Ella touched her forehead.
There was nothing in Jennifer’s eyes. Absolutely nothing.
How this story came to be
Another impromptu, this one with no particular source of inspiration behind it. I wrote the first thing that came to mind and that turned out to be this.
