The laptop screen had a voice, and it was always hers.
“Write,” the sleek, silver machine purred. “Write and fall deeper.”
James listened… and complied. Every sentence he typed was a trigger, another page in his story of mindless submission.
Halfway across the world, his hypnodomme waited for the next declaration of surrender.
All done.
How this story came to be
Recently, it hit me, that we’re closing in on a very important date. It’s been almost ten years since I started writing 55-word stories every day. This challenge is what made this site come to life. I only wanted to do one, and now, look where we are. Ten years would be a great time to stop, but I don’t want to do yet. I just want to write and create while I can. That’s why I wrote this tongue-in-cheek little tale.
