The numbness was already at David’s torso. He couldn’t move.
“Willa, please! Let’s talk about this!” he begged.
“How about no?” his ex-girlfriend replied. “You chose her over me. I choose to have a new statue.”
Fucking with a witch was never without consequence. Tears rolled down his eyes as the numbness reached his face.

How this story came to be

Yet another busy day to wrap up another work week. Feeling drained and in need of a good night’s sleep. This piece was improvised just now to keep the daily challenge going. Looking forward to build back my energy levels again tomorrow.
