When she’s away, Joey misses her like crazy. He loves her so much that the distance makes his heart sink, and he can barely breathe. What do you call this, huh?
Love? Sorry, but the correct word is brainwashing. He waits in the cage every day for his owner to return home. What about you?
How this story came to be
I wanted to write something that sounded like romantic and sweet, and then turn it upside down. Of course, some will argue that brainwashing and enslaving a man is as sweet as it gets. I’ll let you guys be the judge on that, too.
