What About You?
“Dave, what are you doing?” Matt asked.
“Cleaning the bathroom, duh!” Dave rolled his eyes.
“With a toothbrush?”
“That’s what Daphne told me to do.”
“Right… She hypnotized you again, huh?”
“I guess so, but what about you?”
“What about me?”
“Why are you wearing a Summer dress?”
Matt looked down, gasped, and said,
“Shit!”
How this story came to be
Just being silly. There’s something bizarre about responding to a hypnotic suggestion/trigger without realizing what’s happening to you. When it finally dawns on you, it’s even stranger because it makes you wonder what else came to be as a result of external influence. That’s what I wanted to explore with this one in a lighthearted way. Are you sure your actions are your own?
