Black Friday was almost over and Derek hadn’t purchased a thing. His credit card was safe.
Suddenly, his smartphone lit up. Mistress Octavia had published a new wishlist.
“Turn it off,” he muttered, stealing a glance. “Turn it off.”
The only thing that shut down was his mind. Limits were meant to be broken, right?
How this story came to be
Did you buy anything today? I didn’t. Most Black Friday deals aren’t worth it. In years past, I got one or two, usually something related to the site, an antivirus, and things like that. The craziness is part of my country’s legacy now too, though.
Anyway, just like I do with Thanksgiving, I usually write a Black Friday piece every year, and you’ve just read it. Dommes and their wishlists, an irresistible combination, don’t you think?
