To Drown In You
It was raining everywhere, but most especially inside Hector’s mind.
“Feel it now…” Tracy whispered. “The cold water washing away all thoughts… You’ll be left empty and ready to obey. What do you want?”
“To drown in you,” he replied.
“I’ll wait for you in the dark.”
Trevor closed his eyes and crawled to her.
How this story came to be
Apart from a couple of moment of quietness, it rained pretty much all the day here as we have another depression inland. This time around, it’s called Nuria. There’s a saying in Portugal that goes like this: Em Abril, águas mil. Directly translated to English, this means “A thousand waters in April“. It’s basically the equivalent of “April Showers Bring May flowers“. So far, so good (or bad, depending whether you like copious amounts of rain or not.
Anyway, this came to me as I was looking out the window and watching the storm outside in all its dark splendor. My pets were scared for a while but they’re fast asleep now, and I’ll be joining them right now. Have a good weekend.
