The Movie Was Bad

Day 292 of Spell… B-O-U-N-D’s Femdom Hypnosis and Mind Control 55 Words Stories Challenge 2025, The Movie Was Bad is a piece about bad CGI with a purpose.

The Movie Was Bad

The CGI was atrocious, and Richard was confused.
“What am I even looking at?” he said, shaking his head.
“You don’t need to understand,” Beverly purred. “Just look at it.”
He did, and soon got lost in the colorful geometric madness on the screen.
Beverly smiled. The movie was bad, but the climax was hypnotic.

How this story came to be

Do you remember that 90’s movie The Lawnmower Man? It was inspired by a Stephen King short story, but it deviated so much from it that it became a monstrosity about VR and whatnot. It’s riddled with some laughably bad special effects by today’s standards, and even back then, they weren’t that great, compared to other movies. I saw it once when I was younger, and today was on TV again for some reason. I watched five minutes of it and laughed the whole time, but it got me thinking about how bad CGI could be turned into a hypnotic weapon of sorts. Because of that, I wrote this.

I hope you had fun. Until tomorrow.
