That House Over There
“Do you see that house over there?” Jake said.
“What about it?” Alan shrugged.
“A dangerous female hypnotist lives there. Never go near it or she’ll fry your brain.”
“I think she already got you, my friend.”
“What do you mean?”
“Look again.”
There was no house. Jake stared at the empty field and laughed.
How this story came to be
Random nocturnal impromptu about perception. I wasn’t thinking about anything in particular but when the concept of a non-existent house appeared in my mind, I knew I had to do something with it. I wonder what else isn’t real. Is Jake even talking with Alan? Who knows, really?
