Shining

Chloe was shining. Literally.
“Did you swallow a light bulb or something?” Drew asked, trying to inject some levity into an otherwise bizarre situation.
“No, but I don’t mind eating your mind.”
The glow became brighter, like a star being born. Her human form faded away, and only the fairy remained.
Drew knelt and smiled.

How this story came to be

Just a simple supernatural concept that came to me just now. I’ve always liked the idea of evil fairies. Evil fairies pretending to be good fairies pretending to be human is even better. Try not to get eaten, okay?
