“Run, Mary!” Jake pleaded.
“No! We can’t leave Zoe behind.”
“Zoe is gone. It’s not her anymore.”
“But…”
“Run, damn it! Let’s get out of here before we’re next.”
The two friends followed the cavernous path outside while Zoe stared at the mummified sorceress.
“Yes, Mistress, I will obey,” she declared, dropping to her knees.

How this story came to be

Nocturnal impromptu. I was in the mood for something fantastic and this was it. Who doesn’t love to lose their will to powerful, undead sorceresses? You know you wouldn’t be able to resist either, so why even try.
