“Allison!” Melanie screamed.
“What?” her roommate asked.
“Why are the neighbors kneeling on my lawn?”
“So, funny story… Remember when I borrowed your car last weekend?”
“Yeah, what about it?”
“I may have played one of my hypno-files on speaker as I drove around…” Allison shrugged.

How this story came to be
After yesterday’s dark piece, I wanted to write something lighter today. This piece was inspired by a perfect lawn I saw as I was walking my dog today. I remember thinking how hard it might have been to make it look so beautiful and how easy it was to ruin. I imagined lots of people walking in it and this concept took shape.
