Nothing To Do in the Dark
Day 118 of Spell… B-O-U-N-D’s Femdom Hypnosis and Mind Control 55 Words Stories Challenge 2025, Nothing To Do in the Dark is a piece about the blackout that affected the Iberian Peninsula and other parts of Europe today.

Nothing To Do In the Dark
“God, this sucks!” Samuel exclaimed. The blackout had been going on for half a day, no end in sight.
“You’re not afraid of the dark, are you?” Belinda asked.
“No, but there’s nothing to do.”
“Are you sure?” Her smartphone’s flashlight illuminated her spiral contact lenses.
It was time to sink again until morning came.
How this story came to be
Almost sixteen hours. That’s how long I was without electricity following the massive power outage that affected Portugal, Spain, and a few other countries, even though the first two suffered the most. At 11.33 am around here, everything went dark. It was a weird day.
I lost a lot of time because of it. Without power or Internet access, I handwrote a few things but my schedule fell behind and now I’m trying to catch up. This piece was written in my little black book before the sun went down and I had to resort to candlelight to see anything in the house. Having a gas stove allowed me to cook and I didn’t lose much of the food I had in the fridge, so it wasn’t all bad. Still, I hope nothing like this ever happens again.
I hope you had fun. Until tomorrow.
