Not Working Out
Gloria was always honest, and Jake loved that about her.
“This isn’t working out!” she said.
“Why?” he asked.
“You suck! You’re a terrible hypnotist, and you should get a new hobby.”
“Like what?”
“Becoming my trance bitch would be great.”
She snatched his pendant and showed him the ropes. He’s been bound ever since.
How this story came to be
Have you ever tried doing something only to realize you couldn’t? I’m sure you have. We all have dreams that didn’t come true either because of lack of opportunities or skill. Sometimes, things we think we want aren’t right for us, but we’re blinded by illusions and don’t see what’s right in front of us. However, there are always alternatives, and some of them are surprising.
This silly little thing came to while I was in a pensive mood, reflecting about some of my achievements over the years and some of the things that I couldn’t pull off. Maybe in another life..
