Nobody Cares
Dan didn’t want to go for a jog, naked, but Janine wouldn’t budge.
“But the neighbors…” he pleaded.
“Nobody cares. Go. I’ll time you.”
“Okay.” He opened the front door.
And so he went, taking on the streets. No one said a thing because his girlfriend was right: nobody cared…
… and they were entranced, too.
How this story came to be
Yeah, I had one of those crazy dreams. I was jogging around the neighborhood but nobody gave a shit. It was as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Don’t ask me why I dreamed that because I honestly don’t know but those fleeting images inspired this one.
