Labour Day

Labor Day

Clive stepped away from the kitchen and looked at his wife.
“Jill, it’s a public holiday, why am I working like a dog?”
“It’s called Labor Day for a reason. Besides, you love working for me,” she smiled
“I still don’t believe that.”
“You will,” she said as she continued to read her Psychology textbook.

It’s yet another public holiday around here and all around the world as well. International Workers’ Day, also known as Labor Day or Workers’ Day in some countries is meant as a celebration of the working class and what better way to do that than not work at all? Okay, I’m kidding. Just because it’s a holiday, that doesn’t mean everyone has a day off, much to the contrary. Some companies seize the opportunity to try to capitalize on their businesses which results in intensive labor through and through.

However, this piece wasn’t about that as well but rather basic psychology coming to play. Repetition leads to conditioning, conditioning leads to control. It’s easy to get someone to do what you want if you apply this basic principle and Jill is definitely learning the ropes here. Her husband is already stuck to the kitchen. I wonder what she will have him do next. What would you do if you were in her shoes, huh?

Colors of the Mind

Colors of the Mind

Blue. The color of her eyes.
Pink. The color of her skirt.
Gold. The color of her pocket watch.
Brown. The color of his eyes.
White. The color of his thoughts.
Black. The color of her strap-on.
Green. The color of his panties.
Red. The color of his lipstick.
Silver. The color of his collar.

It’s not the first time I’ve played with colors as a means of control and I doubt it will be the last because we all need a little color in our lives and let’s face it, most colors are fun, they elicit some sort of reaction when we see them. There are countless studies about how choosing certain colors over others can be used to ascertain one’s personality traits. marketeers use colors to catch attention and promote products, etc. Colors are life, death, publicity, excitement, etc.

In this one, colors were used to paint a picture of transition into hypnosis and subsequent thought reprogramming. Feminization isn’t really a thing of mine but it’s used effectively as a theme in this piece, I think. Curious to know if you agree with me or not on this one.

Any Problem

Any Problem?

“Any brilliant ideas, MacGyver?” Jack Dalton asked.
“Yes, any brilliant ideas?” Mr. I-refuse-to-stay-dead-no-matter-what Murdoc joined the fray.
Impossible gadgets danced in Macgyver’s thoughts until he looked into Penny Parker’s eyes.
“Submission comes to mind,” he said.
Any problem can be solved with a little ingenuity. Any mind can be controlled with a bit of hypnosis.

Like many others out there, I grew up watching MacGyver. As cheesy as the show could be at times, it was fun, entertaining, and made you look at things from a different perspective, teaching you how to think outside the box. I really enjoyed what it did for my imagination back in the day and I still like the show, and its theme song, very much.

Fast forward twenty-five years and there’s a reboot airing. I’ve watched a few episodes here and there. It’s okay but it also falls a little flat, sometimes. I prefer Jack Dalton as a pilot with a nervous twitch in his eye every time he lies, I prefer Murdoc screaming to his death in every episode he’s in only to appear again later because he’s immortal or something and young Teri Hatcher as Penny Parker was fun so… the opening line of the last paragraph is actually a quote from the show. Unlike other occasions where the quote comes first and I build a story line around it, this time it only manifested at the end to create the humorous punchline. I’m not sure if you agree with me but, if you’ve ever been hypnotized, you probably will.

Dark Side Fun

Dark Side Fun

“Luke, I’m your…” Darth Vader mumbled.
“Father, right? I’ve seen this movie countless times already,” Luke Skywalker yawned.
“Actually, I was going to say I’m a hypnotized masked bitchboy. Please spank me with your lightsaber!”
“What the…? Who changed the script?”
“I did,” Leia grinned as Han licked her feet. “The Dark Side is fun.”

Happy Star Wars Day! Do you like Star Wars? Chances are you do because it has universal appeal and all. I do. I’m not one of those fans who knows everything there is to know about the series including obscure references that have long been disavowed but the classics are classics for a reason. It’s almost blasphemy to turn them into kink fests, right? Nah!

Imagine for a moment this is what truly happened at the end of Empires Strikes Back. How do you think the franchise would have continued? Would there still be Ewoks in the future or the only hairy beasts one would see would be Leia’s new hypnotized naked pets? Who needs an Emperor when Empress is a much better word anyway? I hope you had fun.
