The Reason Why

“Why do you hate St. Pats?” Gary asked.
“I don’t,” Holden replied.
“Liar!”
“Okay. I used to date this Irish lady. Redhead. Hypnotist. We had fun together – especially when she tranced me – until I caught her cheating on me with a stupid bartender.”
“Ouch! Was he a better subject?”
“Nah, just gave her free beer.”

I always add a St. Patrick’s Day piece to the challenge even though the date doesn’t really mean much around here. It must be because I quite like Ireland and green is my favorite color. Anyway, it’s that time of the year and something humorous was bound to appear. In 2021, this is it. Just a humorous little thing I’m sure an Irish friend of mine is sure to like.

No Further Questions

The lawyer looked at the woman sitting on his bed and asked:
“You’re a demon?”.
“Correct.”
“You came from Hell for me?”
“Correct.”
“And you’re planning to control my mind and enslave me?”
“Incorrect.”
“Why is that?”
“Not planning. I already did it.”
He touched the collar around his neck and muttered:
“No further questions.”

Later update than usual today because my Internet was down a bit once more. All sorted now, it seems so time to catch up.

Improvised this one late in the afternoon while I waited for my mother outside the hospital. She had to have her bandages checked following the surgery because there was a little bit of blood coming out and doctors had to make sure everything was okay. Before you ask, the answer is “yes”.

Wrote a lot of different things while I waited for her. This was the one that felt right for today’s challenge piece. Some of the others will be included in the next edition of Micro-Fiction Monday on my Patreon feed.

Not Here

Diana was shocked.
“Why do you want to break up?” She asked.
“I’m sorry, but my heart isn’t here anymore,” Walter replied.
“Can we talk about this?”
“No. Goodbye, Di.”
Walter left the house and stopped in front of a woman holding something bloody in her hands.
“It’s done, Mistress.”
“Wonderful, slave,” the witch replied.

I wrote a supernatural piece yesterday and today I felt like writing another one. I never liked when people say things like “my heart isn’t here anymore” so here’s a literal take on it. Control the heart, control the mind, control everything. Simple, isn’t it?

New Outfit

Francis welcomed the new day.
“Spring is here!” He chirped. “No more heavy clothes! Wonderful!”
“Agreed.” Gina nodded. “You still get a new outfit though.” She pointed at his cock.
“You wouldn’t…”
“I just did.” She clapped her hands.
Metal spikes pierced his skin and he smiled, entranced, oblivious to everything except the morning sun.

While I don’t always pay attention to the dates, sometimes I welcome the new seasons with an entry in this daily challenge. Today was springtime and even though we usually get rain around here in the coming month, it was all quite sunny and cheerful all around this Saturday. Lockdown is slowly being eased once more but it’s too early to tell if the approach of Easter won’t bring about another spike in virus cases.

Anyway, about this one… one more impromptu, another piece that came out of a pile of concepts I played with after getting dinner ready and yes, some of those are being included in the next Micro-Fiction Monday as well. I’m practically running an additional challenge now but that’s okay. As long as the ideas keep coming, I’ll be here to give them substance.
