Paula was being quite obnoxious as usual. After a few drinks, nothing could stop her from making a spectacle of herself. Well, almost nothing.
“It’s time to work your magic,” Sandra said.
“I know.” Violet stood up and snapped her fingers, sending her drunk friend into a trance. The hangover would still be terrible, though.

How this story came to be

I’ve said a few times before that I don’t like being around drunk people. I just don’t. I had to deal with that a lot while I was growing up (alcoholic father, and all that) and grew a natural aversion to it all. That’s the reason why I don’t drink alcohol myself. If I did, I’m sure I would make a spectacle of myself, too.

Anyway, someone I know got a little tipsy today, and became somewhat annoying in the process. If only there was someone around to put her in a hypnotic sleep before things got out of hand…
