“This isn’t real!” Gregory mumbled.
Janice didn’t have blood-red eyes. She wasn’t hovering outside his window. No sharp fangs protruded from her half-open mouth.
“Keep telling yourself that, and let me in,” the vampiress commanded, her sultry voice projected directly into his brain.
Gregory walked mechanically toward the window, ready to be consumed by shadow.
