All Three

“Microsoft won E3!” Paul said.
“Excuse me?” Aaron rebuffed. “Sony won E3!”
“You guys are funny…” Dean laughed. “Nintendo won E3!”
Samantha rolled her eyes, snapped her fingers.
“I win all three,” she declared, pulling them deeper and deeper under her spell.
The performances on the show floor were about to get way more interesting.

I did mention something more lighthearted would be appearing sooner than later and here it is. The inspiration this time around is the rivalry between gamers when it comes to their brand/console of choice, with E3 as the backdrop. I’ve always thought that the idea of “winning” the show was pretty dumb, and I simply despise hearing people trash talk others because they don’t share the same tastes. I solved the problem with a bit of mind control.

Rebooted

Fetish Love

He saw the leather boots. His heart started racing.
“You love these, don’t you?” She hummed.
He did, of course. He loved everything she said he loved. He loved loving his ever growing hypnotic obsession.
“Do you know what else you love?”
Gazing at the mirror, the answer was clear. Shame about the heels though.

Through the ways of hypnosis, brainwashing and mind control, one can be made to love (or hate) certain things. This piece is about love. And fetishes. And… well, read it again very carefully and you’ll find out.

Colorful

“How do I know when I’m under?” Hank typed.
“Simple,” Rachel responded. “If you’re seeing red text now, that’s your cue.
“I’m seeing green.”
You’re under as well.
“Now I’m seeing blue.”
That’s because you’re under.
“So I’m always under?”
If you weren’t before, you certainly are now.
Only two hundred and twelve colors left.

Today’s strange experiment was inspired by the featured image above.

I’m sure you know what it stands for, but let me say it, anyway. That is a representation of the informal and generally accepted list of 216 “web safe” colors. For many years, they were the standard for websites and even though they’ve begun falling into practical because most personal computers now have 24-bit (TrueColor), I still resort to the old palette myself.

Looking at the image made me think of perception shifts once again and my crazy imagination did the rest.

A Modern (Hypnotic) Family

“Where have you been, Jeff?” Amanda tapped her foot, angrily. “I’ve been waiting for ages!”
“Well, honey… First, I was on the moon and then ended up licking feet inside a dungeon in Seattle!”
“My sister hypnotized you again, huh?”
“Your cousin was there too,” he shrugged.
“Thank God mother is on vacation!” She thought.

Just a quick note, today. This silly piece was inspired by the following idea: what if everyone in the family was a hypnotist except you? Poor Amanda.
