Blaze of Glory
Major Roland Barnes always knew he would die fighting.
“Why do they keep coming?” He screamed.
The answer was clear. The alien gynoids absorbed dead bodies along the way, converting them into one of their own.
With bloodshot eyes, he triggered the plasma grenade on his belt, vaporizing his entire squad when they got close.
In the mood for some sci-fi today but I also wanted to write something a little creepy. When it comes to mind control scenarios nothing is creepier to me than absorption and destruction of self so I went with it. This was pretty much an impromptu and that’s where the alien gynoids came from. Do you wish to be turned into a female enemy soldier?
Complete Package
Melanie’s boss was pissed.
“What the fuck? Mr. Anders is expecting a complete advertising package and all you got is a white screensaver?”
“It’s all I need…” She adjusted the laptop screen so that the mesmerizing blankness engulfed his mind.
There has never been a better presentation. Melanie got a raise and two new slaves.
Yesterday’s piece was creepy and kind of dark, right? Well, I usually offset something like that with a lighter take the following day and I did it again. No particular inspiration for it unless you count the fact that my office computer didn’t want to start today and had a blank screen for a few seconds. Pretty sure I wasn’t hypnotized by it though.
Evil Intent
Tales of the dybbuk existed in Jewish Folklore since the 16th century, but Rabbi Kohn had never seen one.
“State your intent, foul spirit!” He exclaimed.
“Revenge!” The petite brunette that used to be his cousin pointed at his only son. “Thank you for bringing my murderer to me.”
A knife flew across the room.
Time to go a little dark again but with good reason. As you know by now, I do monthly themed caption events on my Patreon. A supernatural-inspired week begins today with the pics being posted daily on my Discord server and uploaded to the Patreon feed next Tuesday. I really like supernatural stuff so this should be fun.
Anyway, I’ll be doing a series of supernatural microfiction pieces as well, and perhaps something extra if time permits. This is the first.
So, what’s a dybbuk? The piece you’ve just read already sheds some light on the subject but allow me to elaborate. In Jewish Mythology, it’s a malicious possessing spirit believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person. Traditionally, they tend to be male spirits who possess women on the eve of their weddings typically in a sexual fashion by entering them through their vaginas but I wanted to do something different with the concept. In my tale, the spirit is a woman possessing another woman to keep up with the femdom moniker of the challenge, and since possession is a supernatural form of mind control…
While the concept could have easily worked with a ghost or a normal demon, I had never used a dybbuk before so I used the opportunity to do so, and if you had never heard of them until today, now you know something more just by visiting this site and taking the time to read this post. Thank you.

Griffin had to make a stand. As long as the portal remained open, evil was allowed to roam free in the world. He drew blood on his wrists.

Keeping up with the supernatural vibe, I chose something with a more classic flair, so to speak. You really need to be careful with portals to other planes of existence, seriously!
