Too Small of a Number

Aubrey grabbed a pen and began to write.

New Year’s Resolutions

– Lose 15 pounds (minimum!);
– Finish the novel once and for all;
– Be hypnotized three hundred and sixty-five times;

“Too small of a number, don’t you agree?” Theresa cooed.
Yes. Always. There’s no greater resolution than a hypnotic woman’s will. Both pen and Aubrey sank.

This piece was inspired by New Year’s Resolutions, an appropriate theme seeing the challenge originated as one back in 2016. The name Aubrey was purposely chosen because of its unisex nature. While I tend to envision these snippets as Female Dominant/male submissive affairs, you’re more than welcome to imagine Aubrey is a woman too if that is what strikes your fancy.

Beta Taster

Beta Taster

Being her beta tester was wonderful. Stanley listened to Alana’s latest file and drifted, easily.
When he woke up, she sat next to him, smiling.
“Was it enjoyable?”
“Very.”
“Good. Drink this.”
He obeyed. The glass was warm, its contents thick and salty. He went for seconds, then thirds.
He’s her favorite beta taster now.

I have to thank JustStevenAlexander for this one. Today’s dirty piece had its genesis a few days ago, in the Inraptured site chatroom. I was there, just unwinding a bit when the conversation drifted into the subject of beta testing Hypnodomme’s files. For some reason, Beta Taster came to mind at the time and the idea stuck.

Nothing Happened

I didn’t do a thing to you.
I didn’t hypnotize you, brainwash you, tear your world asunder.
I didn’t turn thoughts into feelings, feelings into cravings, cravings into pieces of your soul.
I didn’t give you these words of worship to write every day.
I didn’t make you mine.
And yet, that’s what you are.

This was inspired by the classic approach to hypnosis of ‘denying’ that something took place in order to bypass the subject’s conscious mind. It’s a great tool to use especially when it comes to extremely analytical persons, people with a tendency to rationalize and try to make sense of everything that’s happening to them. I wrote it in POV style because it felt like the most appropriate way to convey the general idea I was going for.

Alphabet of Submission

Alphabet of Submission

Every day, Trish asked John to organize her books, alphabetically.
At first, he protested but obeyed, anyway. Compulsion in place, he rapidly found himself doing other things for her, promptly, and without questioning. Kissing her feet while she sang was his favorite.

“A, B. C. D, E, F, G…
Now your mind belongs to me…”

I’ve been asked recently if I’m somewhat OCD and if that could explain why I’ve been writing these for more than two years in a row now. The answer is: no, I’m not. It’s true I’ve grown used to writing them on a daily basis but the world wouldn’t end if I didn’t do such a thing. That said, I do like some rules, rituals, and routines. If you wish to train someone to do your bidding, one of the easiest ways to do that is starting with simple things. The performance of repetitive tasks ingrains obedience and once that sets in, everything else feels natural. That’s classic conditioning in a nutshell. I was thinking about all these things when I devised this one.
