It’s Her Birthday
Darren knocked on Mary’s door and she answered.
“Yes?” she asked.
“What’s with all the racket?” he growled. “It’s 2 am.
“I’m throwing a birthday party.”
“Isn’t your birthday in June?”
“A hypnotic goddess has as many birthdays as she wants. Did you bring me a present?”
“No.”
“Think again…” Her eyes began to glow.
How this story came to be
Dropped by a friend’s birthday party but couldn’t stay for long because I was really uncomfortable. That jam I mentioned yesterday really did a number on me. Also, the party was too noisy for my tastes as well.
Anyway, I used that as inspiration and wrote the first thing that came to mind. Feeling a bit tired now. Off to bed.
