It Already Did
“You’re not that smart, Alice!” Mark said.
“Really?” she smirked.
“Yes. I know your tricks. You’ll never hypnotize me like you did with my brother.”
“And your father, your mother, your favorite aunt…”
“Quiet! It’s not happening.”
“It already did. You’re talking to a puppet.”
He stared at the sock in his hand and sighed.
How this story came to be
I wrote some dark stuff today, and wanted today’s challenge entry to serve as a palate cleanser to it all. This was the first idea that came to me that served that purpose, and so I ran with it. You’ll never be hypnotized too, right?
