Inevitable Surrender
Derek stared blankly at Amy’s ring, his thoughts beginning to fade.
“What’s happening?” he mumbled.
“What should have happened a long time ago,” she smirked. “Don’t resist. You don’t want to.”
The old magic continued emptying his mind until the only things left were her words and her will.
Derek kneeled to kiss her boots.
How this story came to be
Another impromptu. I wasn’t thinking about anything in particular today other than magic rings and this was the idea that resonated with me the most. Magic is always fun to play with even if it’s a theme I don’t explore often in this challenge.
