Adam didn’t want to believe it, but the truth was clear. His stepsister had been hypnotizing him for months, slowly taking away his free will.
“Why?” he asked.
“Maggie’s paying me,” Erica giggled. “I love you, but I love a hundred thousand dollars more. Sleep.”
Adam’s eyelids fluttered as he sank deep into a trance.
