The colorful graph made Gerald’s head hurt.
“What am I looking at?” he asked.
“The number of hours you were in trance for me last week,” Theresa replied.
“It says here it was forty-eight hours yesterday alone. That’s absurd!”
“You’re right… it was seventy-two,” she snapped her fingers.
“Right…” The hypnotic confusion continued to spread.
How this story came to be
Don’t believe everything you see or hear from a hypnotist. You never know when they’re fucking with your mind. Days don’t have seventy-two hours. It’s ninety-six, for fuck’s sake! (just kidding!)
