Her New Thrall
The sword glowed with a sickly red light. Elinne reached for it.
“Don’t touch it!” Thomin shouted.
“Why not?”
“It belonged to the Witch-Queen. It’s probably cursed!”
The bitch is dead… relax!”
Elinne grabbed the blade and saw the witch’s face reflected on it.
“Kneel,” she commanded.
“Yes, My Queen,” her new thrall happily obeyed.
How this story came to be
A late-night impromptu after spending most of the day creating new stuff. Who doesn’t love fantasy stories with magic, curses, witches, and whatnot? I know I do, so it felt right to do something like this today. Resistance is impossible. You too will kneel and obey.
