Another piece of micro-fiction for day 16 of this special feature though this one has more than the usual 55 words. Just a little horror snippet. Have fun.

Having Fun

Patricia stormed the basement where her granddaughter and her five friends were gathered around an old Ouija board.
“What are you doing?” She vociferated, bony hands reaching for the dreaded object.
“Relax, grandma,” Jenna replied, slurping her icy drink. “We’re just having fun.”
“Fun?” The old lady screamed. “You’re playing with things you don’t understand! What if a spirit hears your call?”
“One already did,” answered the seventh young woman hiding in the shadows behind her. Everyone’s eyes glowed red.
