Happy Anniversary
“Happy anniversary, Jim!” Melissa exclaimed.
“What are you talking about?” He asked, scratching his head.
“It’s been a year since you agreed to become my hypno-pet.”
“What? No! That’s impossible! I agreed to it last month.”
“Time moves differently when you’re entranced.”
“Not that differently!”
“Are you sure?”
*snap*
“Happy second anniversary, Jim!” Melissa giggled.
How this story came to be
It’s my dog’s birthday today. As I type this, Teo is 11 years old. Time sure flies, huh? I got him about two and a half months after my first dog died back in 2014. Since then, I’ve already lost another pet – my sweet baby girl, Titania – and I know that, sooner or later, he’ll be gone, too. I dread that day and I hope it’s still a long time away, but one never knows.
Anyway, I wanted to write something lighthearted involving an anniversary and this was the first idea that came to mind. Do you remember the last time you were hypnotized, huh?
